These Halibut Floats are used by the guides in Norway for almost all of their float fishing for Halibut. Attached to the line by a Gamakatsu Snap Lock at the top and a Line Clip at the bottom. A weight of the right size an Anti Twist Lead or a Pirk, a hook length with hooks approx. 1m long and you are away.
